Cha Cha is a fun,
flirty latin dance
that emphasizes
rhythm, syncopation
and a wide variety
of step patterns.
The
Cha Cha developed
out of the Mambo,
Rumba and/or Son
styles of dancing in
Cuba in the early
1950s.
When
dancers from the
U.K. watched Mambo
danced with a triple
rhythm, they turned
around and created
the dance that would
ultimately be called
the Cha Cha Cha.
These videos show what you'll learn in your first
Cha Cha class!
