Salsa

Salsa has become a phenomenon, no doubt due to its irresistible music and ever-changing repertoire of turns, arm loops and fun steps.

Salsa as we know it today materialized in the 1970s in New York, drawing on earlier styles such as Cuban Son and Mambo.

Salsa has been influenced by Cuban and Puerto Rican styles of dancing, but it also has been changed by interactions with Hustle, Cha Cha, Rumba and even ballet.

These videos show what you'll learn in your first Salsa class!
