Dance Parties offer a way to learn to dance in a social situation while having a great time! Every Friday night, we pick two dances for our 8pm newcomer drop-in class. You don't need to have any experience and you don't have to bring a dance partner--just bring yourself and a pair of comfortable shoes!

When the class is finished, the party begins. At 9:15, you'll be ready to dance! Our DJ will play a selection of popular music and classic hits that are just right for an evening of ballroom dancing.

For experienced dancers, there is a simultaneous 8pm Intermediate drop-in class. Throughout the month we schedule student performances, teacher demonstrations, and dance cards so you can dance with our fabulous teachers! Our dance parties end at 11:30pm.

Looking for a fun and fabulous time? Want to meet new people in a friendly environment? If you said yes, then our Friday and Saturday night drop-in group classes and dance parties are the perfect thing! Just come as you are! No partner or experience is needed. The focus is fun, fun, fun. It is the weekend and it is our job to help you enjoy it!

 Classes begin at 8pm and finish at 9:15pm. Your instructor will teach a few steps in each of the night's featured dances. You'll be ready to dance at the party that immediately follows your class. Our DJs will play various music that is just right for an evening of ballroom dancing.

 Throughout the month we schedule special theme parties, potlucks, performances, and more! Friday and Saturday nights here at SJDC are an excellent opportunity to not only dance, but meet friends and enjoy your weekend doing something positive for your mind, body, and soul.
