Our mission is to give children the joy of Ballroom and Latin dancing in a supportive and safe environment. It's fun, challenging and good exercise. Our hope is that as their skill increases so will their confidence.

Our youth sessions are taught over a 4 week time span with a new program beginning as soon as one ends. The classes for each program are divided into levels to help children stay within their levels . Classes are offered at the same time each week with the same instructor.

What do the levels mean?

As each child grains more experience they naturally progress to the next level, older children tend to learn faster than younger children. The following is how dancing is divided to help all children start in the level they are comfortable with. Except for the tiny tots class all levels are open for ages 7 to 18 years old.

Tiny Tots

These dancers get to play and have fun with basic body movement. It is at this time that dancers can develop an awesome sense for music, timing, and personality in their dancing.

Level 1

This is where you children start to develop basic balance, timing, and knowledge of how dance steps work.

Level 2

Your child can get to level 2 by invitation only. Body movenment, arm movement and advanced posture is taught at this level. We start getting ready for performances at this level. If you feel you child might have some developed timing or balance then they can take a private dance lesson to get their evaluation.

Level 3

This level is again by inviation only and is offered when there are enough children to fill a 4 person class. Advanced partner dancing is discussed at this level. These children could be potential competition dancers.
